Tamura's Charitable Foundation
Tamura Enterprises, Inc. is committed to helping our communities grow and prosper. In 2001, the Tamura's Charitable Foundation was established to provide funds to support schools in the communities we serve.
Tamura's Charitable Foundation was established by Herbert Tamura and Glenn Tamura based on the belief that "Charitable giving to the community is your lifeline to the community." Glenn Tamura, Herbert's son, came up with the idea and started the Tamura Enterprises Golf Tournament, which is the largest charity to the foundation.
Year after year, local schools in the community have received donations from the Tamura's Charitable Foundation. Each year the foundation selects schools within the community to award funds and products to support the growth of keiki.
